Teacher: Lecturer in Communication Studies Swinburne University of Technology 1969-74

Film & TV Producer: Writer, producer, director and executive producer of more than fifty films, videos and TV programs for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (1974-84) and other organisations in Australia, Asia and the UK.

Writer: The author of books and many short stories and feature articles published in Australia, the USA, Asia and the UK. Awards include the inaugural Age Short Story Award and the Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Creative Writing at Stanford University.

Editor: Editor of books with Starlight Press and other publishing companies.

Multimedia: Director of my own multimedia production company, Intamedia Pty. Ltd. (1994-95) involved in the production of CD-i and CR-ROM marketing and training programs for the hi-tech instrument maker Rofin Australia Pty. Ltd.

Art Therapy: Initiator, manager and creative director of innovatory community service programs involving the arts for people with disabilities such as schizophrenia and disadvantaged people such as the homeless.

Theme Park Event Designer: Designer with the leisure and tourism company Creative Design and Technologies Pty. Ltd. (1987-92).

Curator: Curated more than ten art exhibitions including the exhibition Faith Works! At the National Gallery of Victoria.

Theatre: Writer producer and director of the plays On the Edge (1997). Nijinsky (1999) and The Yellow House (2000).

Musical Composition: Composer of the score of The Yellow House and other songs and compositions.

Responsible for the development of artistic programs to assist the rehabilitation of homeless people, and people with addictions and psychiatric illnesses.
